If the bow of your boat distinctly rises above
the water surface, then you ought to move
weight forward.
If the boat does not plane when at speed, you
need to move weight aft.
When using the boat on your own, we recom-
mend to move forward and counter balance
(luggage, fuel-tank...) to the bow, or to use a
tiller extension.
WARNING: poor trim may dangerously
destabilise the boat and may cause loss
of boat control!
Drain valve
The drain valve serves to drain the boat.
When travelling faster than the surrounding
water, spray water entering the boat is su-
cked off continuously.
When travelling in calm waters, close the
drain valve.
Check that the valve is always free of leaves,
grass etc.
IMpORTANT NOTICE for
Due to the narrow beam, the
not posses the same stability attributes as an
inflatable craft with a wider beam would. For
that reason takes due care not to steer ab-
ruptly and do not make any sudden turns or
unbalanced throttle movements whilst travel-
ling under engine. Furthermore, no weights
should be shifted in the boat when it is mo-
ving at speed. Such would adversely affect
the trim of the boat. Also avoid steering tight
curves when moving at high speed.
