Always unplug the appliance by the plug,
never by the cable.
Make sure power is disconnected in the fol-
lowing cases:
• If there is a fault
• If the appliance is not being used
• Before properly assembling the.appliance
• Before cleaning the appliance
• During thunderstorms
The appliance is not suitable for use with an
external time switch or a separate remote
control system.
DANGER: Risk of injury
The appliance has metal blades that are ex-
tremely sharp. Use it carefully.
Keep hands or utensils out of the recipient
while blending, to reduce the risk of severe
injury to persons or damage to the blend-
er. A scraper may be used, but only at times
when the blender is not being used.
Never reach inside when the blades are ro-
tating. Do not go near the rotating blades
with spoons or similar utensils.

People with long hair or loose-fitting cloth-
ing must keep it from getting entangled in
the blender.
After switching off the appliance, the blades
continue to rotate. Wait for the appliance's
blades to stop rotating before removing it
from the recipient.
To reduce the risk of injury, never place the
cutting blades on a base without first putting
the recipient properly in place.
DANGER: Risk of burns
Be careful when using the blender in hot
liquids. Sudden steaming can cause liquid to
be ejected from the recipient.
WARNING: Risk of material damage
To prevent possible damage to the appli-
ance, stop using it when the rotation of the
blades slows down or stops altogether.
Unplug the appliance and check whether
something is blocking the blades or the
food is too tough. Also make sure the appli-
ance has been properly assembled.
Only use genuine accessories.
