Commissioning

Before commissioning, carry out the following checks:
▶
Check the enclosure and cable(s) for damage.
▶
Check that mounting and installation have been performed correctly.
▶
Ensure that seals and seal systems are clean and undamaged.
▶
Remove any foreign objects.
▶
If necessary, clean the connection chamber.
▶
Ensure that the electrical lines have been laid correctly and connected securely.
▶
Ensure that the stopping plug on the free cable gland between the connection chamber
and the Ex nR enclosure is attached (tightening torque 4 Nm).
▶
Ensure that the seal for the Ex nR enclosure part is undamaged.
▶
Ensure that the enclosure cover is correctly assembled and sealed with 4 screws in each
instance.
▶
Seal unused cable entries on the Ex ec enclosure part with certified plugs (red).
▶
Observe the operating instructions for the installed devices.
▶
Check whether all the specified tightening torques have been observed.
