It is essential that the Ex nR enclosure part is leak-tight, in order to ensure that the

Ex nR control panel explosion protection functions correctly. The leak-tightness was

checked by R. STAHL ex-factory before delivery.

The Ex nR enclosure chamber must never be opened before commissioning.

Only open and close the Ex nR enclosure part in exceptional situations and, even then,

ensure that this is done by specially trained personnel.

Carefully open the cover.

Ensure that the cover is not damaged when doing so.
The cover is protected against falling on the right-hand short side of the connection

chamber. The cover folds to the right.

Before closing the device, carefully check the seals on the cover and the device.
Note the alignment of the cover.
