DVD OPERATION

DVD operation
Inserting a DVD/CD /
starting operation
If there is no DVD/CD inserted in the
drive,
switch on the device with the
CCU 02.
Gently insert the DVD with its
printed side pointing up into
the drive 2 until you feel some
resistance.
The drive draws in the DVD automati-
cally.
You must not hinder or assist the drive
as it draws in the DVD.
Dependent upon the inserted DVD,
the playback starts or the DVD menu
displays.
If a DVD/CD is already inserted in the
drive,
press the VIDEO button on the
CCU 02 (wither for Cabin or Cock-
pit) repeatedly until the CVX 02 is
selected as video source or press
the DVD L button on the remote
control to select the CVX 02 as the
source for the cabin area.
Playback begins from the point at which
it was last interrupted.

Starting DVD playback

After the desired DVD is loaded, either
the DVD menu is displayed or the play-
back starts. This action is dependent
upon the inserted DVD.

Press the PLAY Q button on the
remote control or move the selec-
tion mark with the arrow buttons @
of the remote control to the menu
item that starts the movie (e.g.
"START MOVIE", "MAIN TITLE",
etc.) and press the OK ? button
to start the playback.
The display shows the chapter and the
chapter number.

Fast forward/reverse search

You can fast forward or reverse the DVD
at 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x and 32x the speed
(dependent upon the DVD; some DVDs
can only be played up to 16x the speed).
To fast forward or reverse search the
DVD,
press the
P on the remote control repeat-
edly until the desired speed is
displayed.
Stopping fast forward/reverse search
To stop fast forward,
press the PLAY Q button on the
remote control.
The DVD is played back at normal
speed.
