The following hazards may occur when working on the hydraulics:
 uncontrolled discharge of the hydraulic fluid
 accidental product movements
 flying away or bursting parts
 skin diseases
Work on the hydraulics must therefore only be carried out by competent persons with
the appropriate specialist knowledge.
The product is low-maintenance and only a few parts have to be serviced. Nevertheless, any
faults or defects which may affect the safety of the user must be rectified immediately!
 Check that the product is in good condition before each operation.
 Regularly check that the warning and safety labels on the product are in perfect and
legible condition.
 Only use lubricants recommended by the manufacturer.

Maintenance plan

The type and degree of product wear depend to a large extent on the operating conditions. The
following intervals apply when the product is used within the specified limits:

Adding hydraulic oil

Check the hydraulic unit for any indications of oil leaks. To fill up hydraulic oil, proceed as follows:

Grease lifting arm
Bleed hydraulic cylinder
Change hydraulic oil

 Ensure that the lifting arm is fully lowered. For
this purpose open the hydraulic valve by turning
it counterclockwise.
 Remove the cover plate (1).
 Open the filling port by unscrewing the oil filling
screw (2) of the hydraulic ram (3).
 Slowly fill in high quality hydraulic oil into the
filling port until it reaches the top of the filling
port.
NOTE: Do not operate the lever while filling in
hydraulic oil.
 Bleed the system as described below.
 After bleeding replace the oil filling screw (2)
and the cover plate (1).
