4.2.5 Emptying the bin

■ To switch the device off, slide the operating switch (4) to the "Off"
position.
■ Lift the cutting shredder head off of the waste bin (8).
■ Empty the bin.
■ Put the shredder head (2) back on the waste bin (8).

4.2.6 Switching off the device

■ Slide the operating switch (4) to the "Off" position.

5. Cleaning and Care

Clean the unit with a dry cloth. In case of heavy soiling, the cloth may
be moistened a bit.

► Remove the mains plug from the electrical socket before
cleaning the device.
WARNING
Risk of cutting injury from rollers of the cutting attachment!
Observe the following safety instructions to avoid injury:
► Do not touch the cutting rollers
CAUTION!
Moisture can damage the device!
► To prevent irreparable damage, make sure that no moisture gets
into the device when you clean it.
