6 - OPERATION
THE USE OF THE PUMP IN POTENTIALLY EXPLOSIVE ENVIRONMENTS, IF NOT DULY PROTECTED (PROTEC-
TION NOT SUPPLIED) IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. POSSIBLE ACCUMULATION OF ELECTROSTATIC CHARGES.
IN ORDER TO AVOID ACTIVATIONS UNWANTED BY OR OPPOSED TO THE OPERATOR'S WILL, ON THE
REMOTE CONTROLS OF THE TWO ACTUATORS, THE "PUMP" AND "RELEASE" FUNCTIONS SHOULD BE
RECOGNISABLE THROUGH WRITINGS OR SPECIAL ICONS.
6.1.1 - Use of AP pump
● To activate the "AP" pump supply power to the compressed air inlet connection (fig. 6, page 13). The pump will begin to generate
hydraulic pressure and the machine to which it is connected will begin its operation.
● Once the compressed air is removed from the power supply line, the pump will cease to function but will remain pressurized, leaving
the machine standing still at the point it reached.
● To bring the pressure back to zero, bring the machine back to its resting stage, and supply power to cylinder "B" (fig. 3, page 3)
6.1.2 - Use of RC pump
● To activate the "RC" pump, supply power to cylinder "A" (fig. 4, page 3). The pump will begin to generate hydraulic pressure and the
machine to which it is attached will begin its operation.
● By releasing actuator "A" (that is to say, releasing pressure from the cylinder), the pump stops but remains pressurized, leaving the
machine standing still at the point it reached.
● To bring the pressure back to zero, bring the machine back to its resting state, and supply cylinder "B" with power (fig. 4, page 3)
NOTE: the A and B pneumatic cylinders are single acting and spring loaded.
WARNING: it is possible, after the first installation of the pump, that the circuit will remain uncharged due to the presence of
air bubbles. If the pump is not able to pressurize the oil, follow the instructions here below.
6.2.1 - Re-priming of AP pump
● Supply power to the main compressed air line while at the same time, sending air into actuator "B" for approximately 15 seconds.
6.2.2 - Re-priming of RC pump
● Supply power to the main compressed air line.
● Send air to both the "A" and "B" actuators for approximately 15 seconds.
The pump should now operate correctly. If it does not, repeat the operation.
WARNING
THE PROPER CONNECTION AND USE OF THE PNEUMATIC CYLINDERS (ACTUATORS) ARE THE RESPON-
SIBILITY OF THE PUMP USER/INSTALLER.
THE MANUFACTURER CAN NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR INjURIES TO PERSONS, ANIMALS, MACHINERY
OR OTHER OBjECTS CAUSED BY THE IMPROPER USE OF THE PUMP OR THE IMPROPER CONNECTION
OF THE ACTUATORS TO THE CONTROL SYSTEM.
IN THE EVENT OF DAMAGES TO THE PUMP OR ANY OF ITS PARTS, CAUSED BY WHAT DESCRIBED
ABOVE, THE GUARANTEE, OF ANY NATURE OR FORM, WILL DECAY.
