8. Handset Settings

Using the HS Settings menu, you can customize various settings for the handset such as the
standby display and language used to display the menu messages.
✍ For details on fuzzy dialing (which is under the HS Settings menu), please see par. 3.10.

8.1 Setting Standby Display

Using this feature, you can select the style of the dis-
play in Standby mode. You can choose between:
• Digital clock: it's the default Standby screen ex-
plained in par. 2.7. It shows the digital clock as
well as other parameters, such as the base
number, the handset number (or an handset
name you can enter as explained later on in this
paragraph) etc.
• Analogue clock: it's shows an elegant analogue
clock. In this condition you can't see the over
stated information, however as soon as you
press any key, the analogue clock temporarily
disappears restoring the normal handset condi-
tions.
To select a Standby display mode:
1. Press the MENU soft key to display the Main
menu items.
2. Press the navigation keys
peatedly to choose HS Settings, then press the
SELECT soft key.
