1.3 General Features

The George Fischer Diaphragm Valve Type DIASTAR is safe to operate and requires little
maintenance.
Flow direction and installation position are selectable.
The valve is mounted using threaded bushes molded into the valve body.
The actuator is operated with a choice of control media
 compressed air (oil-free)

inert gases (fluids on request)
A variation of the operating and control pressures is possible by adjusting the spring
assembly of the actuator to the actual operating conditions.
