Filling and connecting the device
The water tank can be filled either continually
through the threaded connection using a hose or
manually through the water inlet funnel.
NOTICE
Water quality
Fill the device only with water in drinking water qual-
ity.

✓ The device is installed at the designated posi-
tion.
a) Connect a hose to the device at the threaded
connection.
b) Then connect the hose to the water network
supply.
 The water tank is then filled automatically. The
float valve automatically closes when the water
reaches the maximum fill level.
Filling the water tank using the inlet funnel
✓ The device is installed at the designated posi-
tion.
a) Open the cap on the inlet funnel and fill the wa-
ter tank with a suitable vessel. NO-
TICE! Observe the maximum capacity of the
water tank and avoid leakage when filling
the tank.
Connecting the device to the power supply
a) Insert the plug of the device in a power socket
that is earthed or protected by an integrated
earth leakage circuit breaker (see Technical de-
tails [ 31]).
 The device is now installed and ready for opera-
tion.

Initial start-up
The evaporation surface is equipped with a coating
that releases some odours during the first few hours
of operation. Prior to first use, we recommend oper-
ating the device outdoors for 12 to 24 hours.
Subsequently, empty the water tank and fill it with
fresh water.
16 Device operation and
control
Before switching on
a) Make sure that the device is not standing on a
wet surface and is in an upright and stable posi-
tion.
b) Make sure the water tank is filled.
c) Make sure the power cord is not damaged.
d) Make sure that the device is connected to a
power socket with the correct voltage and pro-
tection (seeTechnical details
e) Make sure that all instructions in the Operating
conditions [ 21] are adhered to.

1 POWER button on

a) Press the "ON/OFF" device button on the con-
trol panel or the POWER button on the remote
control.
 The fan and the pump start.
 The operating status is displayed in the sta-
tus indicator on the control panel.
b) Select the function you require on the control
panel or remote control (see Control and display
elements [ 24]).
