The device cools air by evaporating water (evapora-
tive cooling). Water requires heat for evaporation.
This heat is absorbed from the air whereby the air is
cooled.
The device primarily consists of a cooling pad, a fan
and a cascade system for water circulation. The fan
extracts outside air and guides it through the cooling
pad. The cooling pad is made of cellulose and is
kept continually moistened by the cascade system.
Water tank
Water, that is used for cooling, is filled into the water
tank. Water can be filled into the tank either continu-
ally through the threaded connection using a hose or
manually through the water inlet funnel.
The water tank is fitted with a float valve. The float
valve closes as soon as the water reaches the max-
imum fill level and opens when the water drops be-
low the fill level. This ensures a continual supply of
water and a continuous operation of the device.
The device can be moved after the water tank has
been filled. However, it is important to proceed care-
fully.
Water supply connection
The water connection is used for continually and
automatically filling the water tank.
Water inlet funnel
The water inlet funnel is used for manually filling the
water tank.
NOTICE! Observe the maximum fill capacity of
the tank to avoid leakages.
Valve for water flow control on the cooling pad
The valve is used to adjust the water flow on the
cooling pad.

The flow of water is at its highest when the valve is
fully open (with the setting button turned anti-
clockwise).
Water drain
The water tank is fitted with an outlet cap. This can
be used to fully drain and empty the water tank.
Disinfection
The device is fitted with an UV-C lamp. This can be
used to continually disinfect the water circulation
during operation.

14.2.1

Intended use

The device is used exclusively to cool air with at-
mospheric pressure in well-ventilated rooms or in
outdoor areas.
Proper use of the device includes that all operators
have read and understood the operating instructions
and adhere to them. Proper use also includes com-
pliance with the specified operating conditions (see
Operating conditions [ 21]). The device must be
checked and serviced at regular intervals.
The device is designed exclusively for industrial and
commercial use.
Any other use is considered improper. Improper use
shall void all warranty cover.

14.2.2

Foreseeable misuse

Foreseeable misuse includes:
– The cooling of air in closed rooms
– The cooling of air while not complying to the
specified operational conditions, with too low
ambient temperature or too high levels of air
humidity.
14.3

Safety devices

Operating the device without properly installed and
configured safety devices poses a risk to life and
limb. Do not modify, dismantle or disable safety de-
vices. All safety devices must be freely accessible at
all times.
Familiarize yourself with the safety devices, in order
to be able to prevent or minimise personal injury
and/or damage to property.
The figure below shows the safety devices on the
device.
