Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Die Riser-Card wird in einen PCIe-Steckplatz gesteckt und dient dort z.B. zur Verwendung von
PCIe-x1-Steckkarten in entsprechenden flachen Computergehäusen (z.B. Rack-PCs, flachen
„Wohnzimmer-PCs" o.ä.).
Alle enthaltenen Firmennamen und Produktbezeichnungen sind Warenzeichen der jeweiligen

Das Produkt ist kein Spielzeug, es gehört nicht in Kinderhände. Das Produkt hat scharfe Kanten
und hervorstehende Teile, es besteht Verletzungsgefahr bei Berührung.
Lassen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial nicht achtlos liegen. Dieses könnte für Kinder zu einem
gefährlichen Spielzeug werden!
Bei Einbau/Ausbau sind geeignete Schutzmaßnahmen gegen statische Aufladung zu treffen
(z.B. Erdungsband, nichtleitende Unterlage usw.).
Gehen Sie vorsichtig mit dem Produkt um, durch Stöße, Schläge oder dem Fall aus bereits
geringer Höhe wird es beschädigt.
Einbau
Falls Sie keine Fachkenntnisse für den Einbau besitzen, so lassen Sie den
Einbau von einer FACHKRAFT oder einer entsprechenden Fachwerkstatt
durchführen!
Vorsicht, Lebensgefahr!
Schalten Sie den Computer, in den die Riser-Card eingebaut werden soll und
alle angeschlossenen Geräte aus und trennen Sie alle Geräte von der
Netzspannung, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker! Das Ausschalten über den Ein-/
Ausschalter genügt nicht!
• Öffnen Sie das Gehäuse Ihres Computers und nehmen Sie den Gehäusedeckel vorsichtig ab.
• Suchen Sie eine geeignete Einbauposition in Ihrem Gehäuse, entfernen Sie das zugehörige
Slotblech.
• Setzen Sie die Riser-Card in den ausgewählten PCIe-Steckplatz ein; danach ist die PCIe-
Steckkarte in den Sockel der Riser-Card zu stecken.
Schrauben Sie Ihre PCIe-Steckkarte fest.
Achten Sie auf sicheren Sitz der Riser-Card im PCIe-Sockel des Mainboards bzw. der
Steckkarte in der Riser-Card.
• Schließen Sie Sie das Gehäuse Ihres Computers und verbinden Sie ihn wieder mit Ihren
anderen Geräten und Zubehör.
• Verbinden Sie Sie Ihren Computer mit der Netzspannung und schalten Sie ihn ein.
Startet Ihr Computer nicht korrekt, so schalten Sie ihn sofort aus und kontrollieren
Sie sämtliche Einstellungen und Kabelverbindungen, ziehen Sie vor dem erneuten
Öffnen des Computers den Netzstecker!
Entsorgung
Elektrische und elektronische Produkte dürfen nicht in den Hausmüll.
Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den geltenden
gesetzlichen Vorschriften.

Use according to regulations
The Riser card is put into a PCle slot and serves for application of PCle-x1 plug-in cards in cor-
responding flat computer housings (e.g. rack PC´s, flat „lounge PCs" or suchlike).

Safety instructions
The product is not a toy and must be kept out of childrens' reach. The product has sharp edges
and salient parts, there is risk of injury when coming into contact.
Do not leave packaging material laying around carelessly. It may become a dangerous toy for
children!
During assembly/disassembly the appropriate safety precautions against static charge should
be taken (e.g. earth connection, insulating support, etc.).
Handle the product carefully, it can be damaged by impacts, strikes or by falling from a low
height.
Assembly
• Open the housing of your computer and remove the housing cover carefully.
• Search for a suitable assembly position in your housing, remove the relevant slot plate.
• Insert the Riser card into the selected PCle plug-in position, then put the PCle plug-in card into
the base of the Riser card.
Screw in your PCle plug-in card.
Pay attention to the secure fitting of the Riser card in the PCle base of the main board,
respectively, of the plug-in card in the Riser card.
• Close the housing of your computer and reconnect it to your other devices and accessories.
• Connect your computer to the line voltage and turn it on.

Attention, danger to life!
Switch off the computer to which you want to attach the Riser card as well as
all connected devices and disconnect them from the line voltage, and unplug
the power plugs! Simply turning off by using the on/off switch is not
sufficient!
If your computer does not start correctly, switch it off immediately and check all set-
tings and cable connections, unplug the power supply before opening your computer
again!
Electrical and electronic products must not be thrown into the household waste.
Dispose of the product at the end of its life cycle in accordance with the valid legal
regulations.
