Blades 35 are sharpened from both sides and their
design do not provide for their re-sharpening� In case
one blade edge becomes blunted blades 35 should be
turned, if both blade edges become blunted blades 35
should be replaced� Hereinafter referred to as "inter-
changeable blade"�
• Adjust the planing depth to "0"�
• Get the wrenches 20 and 21 out of the container 22,
as described above�
• Turn the power tool over and loosen clamping
bolts 33 using wrench 21 (see fig. 15).
• Using the wrench 21 move the interchangeable
blade 35 to the side and extract it, as shown in fig. 16.
• Replace interchangeable blade 35 or turn it over (if
the second cutting edge of the blade is sharp enough)
as shown in fig. 17.
• Install the interchangeable blade 35 in place, as
shown in fig. 17.
• Put a metal ruler to the side surfaces of base
plates 13 and 16 and align the side part of interchange-
able blade 35 (see fig. 18).
• Put the metal ruler to the top surfaces of base
plates 13 and 16 and make interchangeable blade 35
touch the ruler in the upper point by turning adjust-
ing bolts 37 with the Allen key 20 (see fig. 19), but
drum 34 shall be able to turn� Ensure that interchange-
able blade 35 is adjusted in a similar way throughout
all its length (interchangeable blade 35 cutting edge
shall be parallel to the surface of front base plate 13)�
• Tighten clamping bolts 33 with wrench 21 until it
locks all detail in the slot of drum 34 (see fig. 20).
• Repeat the above operations for the second
interchangeable blade 35�
Replacement of driving belt (see fig. 21)
• Unscrew housing screws 42 of protective casing 5
and remove it (see fig. 21).
• Remove the worn driving belt 39�
• Clean the belt pulleys with a brush�
• Place a new driving belt 39 onto the driving
pulley 41 (smaller diameter) and than pull in on the
driven pulley 40 (larger diameter) rotating drum 34�
• Place protective casing 5 back and tighten screws 42�

kind of technology that works on the principle of clamp-
ing packaging�
Li-Ion batteries
The contained Li-Ion batteries are subject to the Dan-
gerous Goods Legislation requirements� The user can
transport the batteries by road without further require-
ments�
When being transported by third parties (e�g�: air trans-
port or forwarding agency), special requirements on
packaging and labelling must be observed� For prepa-
ration of the item being shipped, consulting an expert
for hazardous material is required�
Dispatch batteries only when the housing is undam-
aged� Tape or mask off open contacts and pack up the
battery in such a manner that it cannot move around
in the packaging� Please also observe possibly more
detailed national regulations�

Environmental protection

Recycle raw materials instead of dispos-
ing as waste.
Power tool, accessories and packaging should
be sorted for environment-friendly recycling�
The plastic components are labelled for categorized
recycling�
These instructions are printed on recycled paper man-
ufactured without chlorine�
