Charging process (see fig. 7)
• Press the battery lock 7 and remove the battery 10
(see fig. 7.1).
• Connect the charger 18 to the power supply
• Insert battery 10 into charger 18 (see fig. 7.2).
• Disconnect the charger 18 from power supply after
charging
• Remove the battery 10 from the charger 18 and
mount battery 10 in the power tool (see fig. 7.3).
Charger indicators (see fig. 8)
Charger indicators 30 and 31 inform of the battery 10
charging process Signals of the indicators 30 and 31
are shown on the label 32 (see fig. 8).
• Fig 81 - (the green indicator 30 is on, the
battery 10 is not inserted in the charger 18) - the
charger 18 is connected to the power network (ready
for charging)
• Fig 82 - (the green indicator 30 is blinking, the bat-
tery 10 is inserted in the charger 18) - the battery 10 is
being charged
• Fig 83 - (the green indicator 30 is on, the battery 10
is inserted in the charger 18) - the battery 10 is fully
charged
• Fig 84 - (the red indicator 31 is on, the battery 10
is inserted in the charger 18) - the charging process
of the battery 10 is terminated due to inappropriate
temperature When the temperature conditions are
normal, the process of charging will resume
• Fig 85 - (the red indicator 31 is blinking, the
battery 10 is inserted in the charger 18) - the charging
process of the battery 10 is terminated because of its
failure Replace the faulty battery 10, its further use is
prohibited
In the process of charging the battery 10
and the charger 18 become hot, it is a
normal process.
Switching the power tool on / off
Switching on:
In order to switch on the power tool, push lock-off but-
ton 3 (to right or to left) and while holding it in position,
push on / off switch 4
Switching off:
In order to switch off the power tool, release on / off
switch 4
Dust suction during the power tool op-
eration
Dust suction allows reducing dust concen-
tration in the air and prevents its accumula-
tion at the workplace
When working with the power tool it is
recommended to use a vacuum cleaner designed for
dust extraction of the processed material Also, when
connecting the vacuum cleaner to a power tool, it is
necessary to take into account the direction of the
chips ejection
Design features of the power tool
Temperature protection (see fig. 9.1)
The temperature protection system enables to auto-
matically deactivate the power tool in case of excess
load or when the temperature of the battery 10 is ex-
ceeding 80°C The system guarantees protection of
the power tool from damage in case of noncompliance
with the operation conditions
When this protection system is activated indicators 8
will blink as shown onto fig. 9.1 during 3 seconds.
Overheating protection (see fig. 9.1)
Overheating protection system of the engine automati-
cally switches off the power tool in case of overheat-
ing In this situation, let the tool cool before turning the
power tool on again
When this protection system is activated indicators 8
will blink as shown onto fig. 9.1 during 3 seconds.
Overload protection (see fig. 9.1)
Overload protection system of the engine automati-
cally switches off the power tool when it is operated
in a manner that causes it to draw an abnormally high
current
When this protection system is activated indicators 8
will blink as shown onto fig. 9.1 during 3 seconds.
Overdischarge protection
The battery 10 is protected by the safety system
against deep discharge In case of complete dis-
charge, the power tool is automatically switched off
Attention: do not try to switch on the power tool
when the protection system is activated the bat-
tery 10 can be damaged.
Indicators of the state of battery charge (see
fig. 9.2)
With the push of the button 9 the indicators 8 show the
state of charge of the battery 10 (see fig. 9.2).
Soft start
Soft start enables smooth start of power tools - the
drum is being run up gradually with no jerks and kick-
backs; no jump-like load is imposed on the motor upon
switching
Changing the direction of chips ejection
Change the direction of chips ejection increases the
safety of the work and makes the work more comfort-
able
Safety stop (see fig. 10)
Spring-loaded safety stop 15 allows putting the power
tool aside right after completion of the operation, with-
out any risk to damage the treated surface or the pow-
er tool blades When the power tool is lifted above the
treated surface spring actuated safety stop 15 returns
into the initial position, and during putting aside back
base plate 16 does not contact the treated surface (the
