Workspace:
Important: Never put the device on or next to a hot surface (e.g. the rings of a
stove).
Always put the device on a surface that is level, stable, temperature-resistant and dry.
Keep it away from the edge of work surfaces so that it cannot fall off during use.
Before initial use:
∙ Wipe off the device with a damp towel.
∙ The sealing rings and the bag sealing bar must be clean and level, otherwise it will
not be possible to generate a vacuum.
Roll of film / bags
Use only the special rolls of film / plastic bags that are suitable for vacuuming and
sealing. If the wrong film is used it will stick to the device and damage the sealing bar.
The following special films are available from Steba, among other things:

Making bags from rolls of film
∙ Connect the unit, the blue light shines.
∙ Cut the film from the film roll with the enclosed cutter. Take the following into
account:
a) About 2cm is required for the bottom of the bag for perfect sealing.
b) Then leave enough room for the food
c) An additional 8cm is then required for vacuum sealing.
∙ Place the front end of this tube of film against the black oval sealing lip, ensuring
that it is smooth and free of creases, and close the device.
∙ Engage the lid at the right and left sides (confirmed by an audible click).
∙ To begin sealing, press the

∙ To remove the bag, press the two buttons at the right and left sides and open the
lid.
