Intended use
This desktop microphone is intended to convert acoustic signals (sound waves) into electric
signals. It is suitable for conferences, podcast productions, multimedia presentations and other
similar applications.
The USB connector may only be connected to suitable USB ports on desktop computers or
laptops. Contact with moisture (e.g. in a bathroom) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the
product for purposes other than those described above, it may be damaged. In addition,
improper use can cause hazards such as a short circuit or fire. Read the operating instructions
carefully and store them in a safe place. Only make this product available to third parties
together with its operating instructions.

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety

• This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become
a dangerous toy for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong vibrations,
high humidity, moisture, combustible gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• Handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may
damage the product.
• When setting up the product, ensure that the cable is not pinched, kinked or
damaged by sharp edges.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been taken from a cold room into
a warm one. This may cause condensation to form, which can destroy the product.
Allow the product to reach room temperature before connecting it and putting it
into use. This may take several hours.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent
unauthorised use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product, or if
you have concerns about safety.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs may only be carried out by a technician or
a specialist repair centre.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions,

Setup and operation
Never point the microphone at the sound openings of loudspeakers, as this may
lead to interference, which could damage the loudspeaker and the connected
computer.
• Place the desktop microphone on a stable, scratch-proof surface next to your computer.
• Connect the USB plug (4) to a USB port on your computer.
• Wait until your operating system recognises and installs the new hardware. This happens
automatically.
• If necessary, set up the desktop microphone as audio source device in your operating
system.
• Adjust the volume via the computer/laptop to which the microphone is connected.
• Press the on/off switch (3) to turn on the microphone. The status LED (2) will turn red when
the microphone is switched on.
• Press the on/off switch (3) again to switch off the microphone. The status LED (2) will turn
off when the microphone is switched off.
• Disconnect the microphone from the computer/laptop after use.
Care and cleaning
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solutions, as these may damage the housing or impair the functioning of the device.
• Disconnect the product from the connected devices before cleaning.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product. Do not allow water to get inside the housing.
• Do not press too hard on the surface when cleaning, as this may lead to scratch marks.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in household
waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations. You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to
environmental protection.
