INTENDED USE
The InLine® PoE++ Gigabit Network Switch is a fast and fl exible solution for upgrading
the existing network to the IEEE 802.3af / IEEE 802.3at / IEEE 802.3bt Power over Ethernet
system as well as a fi ber-optic connection to bridge longer distances.
The switch provides protection against, for example, overload, overvoltage and overheating
at each port. In addition, the switch offers both PoE according to IEEE 802.3af/at on ports
5-16 with up to 32 watts, as well as PoE++ according to IEEE 802.3bt with up to 60 watts
output power on ports 1-4 per port via Cat. 5e/6/6A/8.1 Ethernet cable with a PoE budget of
300W and a combined total power of 330W.
16x 10/100/1000Mbps PoE ports solve the problem of a limited number of available power
outlets, providing system administrators with a fl exible solution to power almost anywhere
the powering network device, such as PoE-enabled IP cameras or wireless access points
(also with heating).
