1. Before starting up the device

Dear Sir/Madam,
We would like to thank you for the order and the trust you have placed in us for the DoD
2.0. To be able to work with the device, you must first become a customer with Herth+Buss
Fahrzeugteile GmbH & Co. KG, Dieselstraße 2- 4, D-63150 Heusenstamm. To do this, we re-
quire your customer data on the Herth+Buss customer master data sheet 6.2-10-34 and the
service agreement.
1.1. Agreement and customer information
Please complete the customer master data sheet 6.2-10-34 and page 1 and page 6 of the
service agreement, sign it and send it completely by e-mail or post to our Herth+Buss sales
team: sales.de@herthundbuss.com
IMPORTANT
You can find the 5-digit device serial number on the rear of the VCI. Then the commer-
cial processing of the customer system takes place. This process takes around two to
three working days.
You will receive a completed SEPA direct debit mandate, which we ask you to sign and
return by e-mail or post to our H+B sales department: sales.de@herthundbuss.com
1.2. SEPA direct debit
Once we have the signed SEPA direct debit mandate, you will be enabled for the services
on the DoD dashboard. You will receive an e-mail from the DoD technicians with the e-mail
address mailer@odb.help.
