Problem
My POI Pilot is not/no longer being
recognised by POIbase.
Activationcode already
redeemed.
My activation code is not being
accepted.
Why do I have to pay for the speed
traps?
After a new POIbase installation, I
can't re-register.
How can I uninstall the
program?
I'm not being warned about speed
traps.
"8888" is shown on the display.

Cause
• USB cable defective.
• USB jack is not being recognised.
• USB connection of PC defective.
Code entered incorrectly.
• Activation code not entered
during registration.
• If your free update period has expired.
Already registered in the program.
• No speed traps transferred.
• Speed trap warning switched off.
Battery flat.
Solution
Try again with a different USB cable.
Select a different USB jack, insert and remove the cable multiple
times, restart the PC.
Login with the email address, with which the code has been re-
deemed. A renewed redemption is not necessary, the activation
is stored in the account .
Enter precisely the letters/numbers and characters imprinted
on the CD. Please input the hyphens as well.
U and V, 0 and D are easy to confuse.
• Select Settings » Redeem activation code, to enter the code
later.
• Go to the shop our POIbase software and buy the new desired
speed cameras service.
Cancel the registration and log in with your email address and
password.
POIbase can be uninstalled in the control panel under Programs
and Functions.
• Transfer the speed traps to the POI Pilot.
• Activate the speed trap warning in the menu of the POI Pilot.
Charge the battery and check the cable, plug and USB port.
