Step 4
After you have added several countries to your selection
by clicking on „add", it should look something like this: The
newly added countries are now displayed in green as „To be
added". In this example we had already installed Germany
on the POI Pilot 6000. This causes the category to appear in
green at the front of the 1st column. So POIbase remembers
your selection. If you do not want to select any further POIs
at this point, you can start the transfer directly by clicking
on the yellow button „Download approx. 13825 POI". The
number will diff er for you, as you may make a diff erent
selection or our speed camera database is constantly
changing due to updates.
NOTE: Because of the limited capacity of the storage
you have to draw up a shortlist (ca. 100 000 POIs).
Step 5
If you want to install further POIs, such as kindergartens,
you have not yet clicked on the yellow button after the
speed camera selection, but on Back. Now simply click on
„Download POIs" to add more POIs to your selection. You will
fi nd many categories from which you can select POIs. The
principle is always the same. Simply click on „add" to add this
POI category to your personal selection.
