FIRST USE

1. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the
device by applying adequate pressure to the arrow and
open the compartment in the direction of the arrow.
2. Insert the battery properly and pay attention to the
correct polarity.
3. Close the battery compartment.
4. Connect the micro USB plug of the micro USB cord to
the device and the USB plug to a compatible USB power
adapter.
After making sure that the battery is fully charged before
the device is used for the first time, disconnect it from the
power supply.
DETAILED INSTALLATION – STEP BY STEP
To install the software for the POI Pilot 6000 on your
Windows PC in only a few steps:
Step 1
Place the POIbase CD in your drive and click on
"poibase_setup_poipilot6000.exe". The installation then
starts automatically.

NOTE: In individual cases it can happen that your
security software (firewall) blocks the installation
from CD. In this case, please accept the download of
our POIbase software directly or please download the
POIbase software from our website. You will find this
