OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE
Always disconnect the plug from the mains outlet prior to mounting or removing accessories!
Prior to using a new unit, wipe the surface and the inside with a wet cloth for hygienic reasons. Wash all the removable
parts in warm water with a detergent, or in a dishwasher.
Then, heat the unit without food at maximum temperature for 20 minutes (see the Operating Instructions below). It's
possible that the unit will emit a slight smell and smoke, which should disappear after a while. Air the room well during
this process.
GRILL FUNCTIONS
1. Set the temperature control to maximum.
2. Set the mode selector to grill or grill/fan position.
3. Skewer the food, and use end pieces with safety screws.
4. Select the upper + lower heating function using the heater selector.
5. Set the required time using the timer, including 5 minutes for preheating. The
unit will be switched on, and the operation indicator be will illuminate.
6. The inside of the oven is sufficiently hot after 5 minutes.
7. Put the baking pan in the lowest position, with a small amount of water to
collect the dripping gravy and fat (Fig. 1).
8. Insert the skewer with food in the oven. Mount the rod in the right grip, then
in the left one.
9. Close the oven door.
10. The unit will switch off automatically after the preset time runs out.
11. Move the mode selector to the OFF position and unplug the unit from the
mains.
12. Open the oven door slowly to prevent yourself from being scorched by hot
air.
13. Using the skewer holder, dismount the skewer first on the left, then on the
right, and take out the entire rod with food.
Note: Do not use the grill function without the baking pan in the lower part. The dripping fat could burn when
in contact with the heater! In case of fire, switch off the unit and unplug it from the mains. Do not open the
door; the flames will extinguish spontaneously.
CONVENTIONAL BAKING FUNCTION
A) Upper heating
1. Move the heater selector to the position .
2. Set the required temperature using the temperature controller.
3. Set the required time using the timer, including 5 minutes for preheating. The unit will be switched on, and the
operation indicator will illuminate.
4. The inside of the oven is sufficiently hot after 5 minutes.
5. Put sliced food on the grill and place it at the required height. Put the baking pan in the lowest position, with a small
amount of water to collect the dripping gravy and fat.
