5.4 Date and Time Setting

Before using the video laryngoscope for the first time, set the date and time to
ensure correct naming of the photo and video.
1. On the main observation interface, slide from top to bottom of the screen to
access the general setting interface.
2. On the general setting interface, tap the time area in the status area to set the
date and time.
3. Tap to save the setting.
CAUTION:
 If the video laryngoscope has not been used for a long time or after
replacement of its battery, check whether the date and time are correct. If not,
set the date and time again according to the preceding steps.
5.5 Intubation
1. Let the patient lie on his/her back, push the patient's chin downwards to make
the patient open mouth, use one hand to hold the video laryngoscope already
installed with a laryngoscope blade, insert the laryngoscope blade into the
patient's oral cavity along the tongue, and make the laryngoscope blade bend
along the oral cavity structure of the patient and slide down slowly along the
tongue surface to enter the pharynx. The display screen displays the root of
tongue, uvula, and epiglottis in sequence.
2. Place the distal end of the laryngoscope blade at the epiglottic vallecula and
gently lift the video laryngoscope until the display screen displays the glottis.
If the display of the glottis is not ideal, it is recommended that the operator
gently lift the lower jaw of the patient to expose the glottis.
