5.3 Check Before Use

5.3.1
Checking the Appearance
Before use, check that the surfaces of the video laryngoscope and
laryngoscope blade are smooth without any sharp edge, burr, or protrusion. If any
sharp edge, burr, or protrusion is found, replace the laryngoscope blade or use
another video laryngoscope to avoid harm to the patient.
5.3.2

Checking the Connection

Before use, check that the connection between the video laryngoscope and
laryngoscope blade is steady. If the connection becomes loose, reinstall the
laryngoscope blade according to section 5.1 to avoid accident during use.
5.3.3

Checking the Battery

Before use, check that the remaining battery capacity is sufficient to avoid the
situation that the device is automatically shut down during use because battery is
empty.
Check the battery icon in the status area on the main observation interface. If
only one bar is illuminated in the battery icon, please fully charge the battery
before use or use another device with sufficient remaining battery capacity.
WARNING:
 The battery may get damaged if you do not use it for a long time. The battery
should be used at least once every three months. In addition, charge the battery
before it is depleted.
