MIC IN
Mono Mixing Amplifier
for 12 – 24 V Operation
These instructions are intended for installers of
PA systems and for users without any specific
technical knowledge (chapter 4) . Please read
the instructions carefully prior to operation and
keep them for later reference .
1 Applications
This amplifier with a power rating of 30 W is
operated at a DC voltage of 12 V to 24 V . There-
fore, it is ideally suited for mobile applications .
For speech or music reproduction, a micro-
phone and another audio source (e . g . CD/ MP3
player, mixer) can be connected .

2 Safety Notes

This product corresponds to all relevant direc-
tives of the EU and is therefore marked with

The product is suitable for indoor use only .
Protect it against dripping water, splash water
and high air humidity . The admissible ambient
temperature range is −25 °C to +50 °C .

For cleaning the product, only use a dry, soft
cloth; never use water or chemicals .

No guarantee claims for the product and no
liability for any resulting personal damage
or material damage will be accepted if the
product is not correctly used or if it is not
expertly repaired .
If the product is to be put out of oper-
ation definitely, dispose of the product
in accordance with local regulations

3 Installation
The amplifier is designed for installation, e . g .
into the dashboard . Always switch off the ampli-
fier before making or changing any connections .
3.1 Inputs
1) To connect a microphone, use the jack
MIC IN and an XLR cable .
2) To connect audio sources with line level
output (e . g . CD/ MP3 player, mixer), use the
jacks AUX IN either at the front or at the rear .
Note: For connection of stereo audio sources, the
inputs are provided with a pair of jacks . The amplifier
creates a mono signal from the stereo signal .
3.2 Output
To connect a speaker or a group of speakers,
use the plug-in screw terminals SPEAKER OUT .
The total impedance of all speakers must not
be less than 4 Ω . The figure on page 2 shows

a total impedance of 4 Ω or 8 Ω .
3.3 Power supply
For power supply, connect the plug-in screw ter-
minals DC IN to a DC voltage source of 12 – 24 V .
Important: Do not connect the negative termi-
nal of the speaker output SPEAKER OUT to the
negative pole of the power supply .
