Other important information

When several KaWe examination lights are used together, the total irradiation intensity due to the intersection of the light spots of
these examination lights can exceed 1000 W/m2. This leads to the risk of excessive heat build-up in the light spot. The intersection
of the light spots of several KaWe examination lights may result in the UV limit (< 400 nm) exceeding 10 W/m.
Note: If you wish, it is possible to request a factory electrical safety test report. For this, we only need the series number of the
KaWe examination light, which requires a report. If additional devices or KaWe examination lights are connected during
installation, Section 16 of EN 60601-1:2013 must be applied; may also need a compliance check!

Sterilizable handle models are available on request only.

11. Disposal

The examination light does not contain harmful substances.
At the end of the product's service life, the examination light
components must be properly disposed of. Observe carefully
the requirements for careful separation of materials. The
electrical printed circuit boards must be brought to an
appropriate recycling organization. The light housing and other
components of the examination light are disposed of according
to specific material requirements.
Instructions for user and patient
All serious incidents involving the product must be
immediately reported to the manufacturer and the
competent authorities of the relevant Member
State in which the user and/or patient is located.

12. Appendix

Warranty

With proper use and adherence to our User's Manual, as well as
the use of original KaWe spare parts, the statutory warranty is
valid for a period of two years from the date of sale (excluding
light sources).
If you have any questions or need repairs, please contact your
dealer.
