5. Seat cushion extension
Set the movable cushion section so that your thighs rest on it
until just before the hollow of the knee.
Rule of thumb:
There should be a space of two or three fingers free between the
seat cushion and the hollow of the knee.
6. Back support (Airmatic)
When making the adjustment, ensure that the lumbar vertebral
column is supported in its natural shape. Arching of the back
must be avoided.
The lumbar vertebral column area is subjected to considerable
strain when sitting in a vehicle. Suitable support can prevent pain
and injury.
7. Lateral guide
The lateral guide should be brought as close to the body as
possible so that it supports the upper body without restricting
you.
8. Headrest
The upper edge of the headrest must be at least at eye level or,
preferably, level with the top of the head. Select the angle so that
the distance to the head is approximately two centimetres.
Now check all settings again. If necessary, re-adjust the
settings in the same order.
