WÜRGER
The Tune Würger seatpost clamp is a high tech product, that requires attention and
care. Please read the entire manual carefully before using the seatpost clamp.

Use a vernier caliper to measure the outside diameter of your seat tube at several locations. The
•
measured diameter should be within the relevant tolerance provided, see figure. If this is not the case,
the Würger can not be used!
•
The Würger could be damaged if too much force is applied to „bend
open" or close. In this case, you should consult your bicycle retailer.
•
If the seat tube is within the respective tolerance, then position the
Würger such that the clamping slit coincides with the clamping slit of
the frame and push the Würger with opened clamping lever onto the
seat tube until the dead stop is reached (flange on inside).
•
Important:
The assembly must be performed carefully otherwise
there could be insufficient clamping force or the Würger could be
damaged. The Würger should be assembled without grease or as-
sembly paste. When assembling with a carbon frame, we recom-
mend using carbon assembly paste between frame and seatpost.
Carbon assembly paste increases friction and hence reduces the
required torque.

In order to ease the assembly you could unscrew the knurling nut by
some turns.
•
Now insert the seatpost to the required height and close the Würger. For
this purpose tighten the knurling nut while the clamping lever is open, close the clamping lever, open the
clamping lever again and tighten the knurling nut once again if necessary. Afterwards close the clamping
lever again and lean it against the seatpost to prevent unintentional opening during ride.

No alterations are to be made to the Würger. Any alterations will void warranty.
Usage with a Carbon-Seatpost:
•
Due to the fact that the torque can not be adjusted exactly when using a seatpost-clamp with quick
release, the assembly of the Würger in combination with a carbon-seatpost needs more time. Take care
not to damage the seatpost by applying an excessive torque. After correctly adjusting the torque
once, by turning the knurled nut, the clamping lever can be closed without hesitation in further clamping
processes.
