When configuring the ET 200SP HA and the ET 200SP, you must observe the rules
specified below for the maximum configuration and load of the Ex power modules.
Load on the Ex power modules
• Ensure that the current consumption of the Ex I/O modules of an Ex module group
does not exceed the permissible output current of the Ex power module.
• The maximum current requirement of the I/O module can be found in the
technical specifications.
