- Do not use any damaged glass lids. Never cool glass lids down under cold water –
there is a risk of bursting.
- In the case of items or individual components that are suitable for the dishwasher, please
use the detergent that is recommended by the manufacturer of the appliance.
- If handles which are screwed to the body or lid of the juice extractor come loose, you can
tighten them again with a screwdriver. Please do not tighten the screws too firmly.

Additional information

Discolourations
Blue, brown and iridescent discolourations on the inside of the juice extractor after cooking can
be easily removed with citric acid, lemon juice or vinegar. You can make a solution in a 5 : 1
ratio of water to vinegar/lemon and boil this briefly in the juice extractor. Or you can put a little
vinegar/citric acid directly onto a soft cloth and wipe out the juice extractor.
An overheated juice extractor (e. g. due to heating when empty, completely boiling the liquid
away or leaving the juice extractor on the stove) takes on a golden colour on the base and the
walls. These discolourations do not impair the functioning of the juice extractor.
