Please note that glass lids are only ovenproof up to a temperature of 180˚ C.
At higher temperatures, there is a risk of bursting.
Positioning on the heat source
To guarantee optimum functioning of the cookware, the base of the cookware should
be slightly larger than the burner or correspond to its diameter. The appropriate burner
diameter is indicated on the base of the cookware and/or on the coloured packaging.
Always place the cookware centrally on the burner.
When the cookware is used on an induction stove, please always consult the operating
instructions of the stove manufacture with regard to the correct positioning of the cookware.
If it is positioned incorrectly, this could result in irreparable damages to the cookware, for
example the overheating of the side walls due to induction currents.
The sealing can be damaged if you position the cookware incorrectly, completely boil
the liquid away or leave the cookware on the stove and forget about it; and it can burn
in temperatures of over 250˚ C. If smoke develops, turn the stove off immediately and
ventilate the room.
