Equipotential bonding saddle on the cabinet carcass
Earthing the safety storage cabinet prevents ignition hazards.
The interior fittings are conductively connected to one another by an equipotential bonding
saddle or equipotential bonding screw on the cabinet carcass. All coated materials have a
conductive coating.
Correct earthing is stipulated in the applicable national standards and regulations, e.g.
Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances: TRGS 727 in Germany.
