Monitoring of the tipp dressing result (since firmware version
108):
The welding control monitors with the following routine the tipp dress result with
heat value and the current as follows:
The user defines a welding program for tipp dress monitoring. With this program
the reference welds and the process monitoring will be performed. In this program
should be programmed a sequence with the operation mode „heat value" in the
second current time without stepper and without %I correction. This program has
to be assigned to the monitored electrode.
The hold time in this program has to be min. 20ms long and the output „weld
complete" may be come at the end of the hold time. This is necessary that the
output, which may be show a incorrect tipp dress, will be switched sure before the
output „weld complete" .
The warning, which in case of fault will be generated, will be reset with the start of
the next welding spot of the same electrode.

7.2.3

%I warning (since firmware version 108):

After each welding schedule will be performed a heat value monitoring. The
medium heat value will be compared with the electrode parameter
 upper %I limit
 upper %I warning
 lower %I warning
If one of the limits exceed, a warning will be output. This warning remains until the
next Tipp dress / change or until the resetting of the %I actual values via the GUI.
7.2.4
Post-heating pulse (since firmware version 110, modified with
firmwareversion 111):
For the monitoring of the post weld time a conditional upper tolerance limit is
programmable.
Additional the logic for the spot repetition was changed:

The spot is rewelded with higher current in the MainWLD. The new factor for
increasing %I is program specific.
