4. Using the Mouse Software
- Double-click the mouse symbol
your personal requirements.
- You can change the wheel mode and wheel
speed in the "Wheel" tab (Fig. 3).
a) System default setting (Intelli-Mouse) mode: This mode is optimised for scrolling for MS-Intelli-
mouse-compatible applications such as MSOffice applications or Internet Explorer from version 4.0.
b) Improved scroll mode
Select this mode if the scroll wheel does not work in a certain application. This is a standard
Windows setting which is recognised by most programs.
c) Click "Wheel speed" to set the number of lines per scroll unit required.
d) If you want to scroll page by page select the "Scroll one page per scroll unit" option.
- Functions can be assigned to the 3rd (wheel) button and the 4th mouse button in the "Button" tab
(Fig. 5).

a) Open the pulldown menu and select a function from the list.
b) Click "Apply" to finish.
5. Replace Battery Indicator
A red light in the wheel indicates that the batteries are low.
When this occurs, replace the batteries as soon as possible.
