Connecting the GNSS antenna
Exceeding the maximum torque
The SMA connection could be damaged if the maximum torque is
exceeded.
 Do not exceed the maximum torque of 0.6 Nm.
 Do not tilt or twist the cable as you screw it on.
 Connect the SMA connector plug of the GNSS antenna to the SMA
socket (see Figure 6 and Figure 7: number 3) and tighten the SMA
connection carefully using a torque wrench: torque = 0.6 Nm.

Cable securement

 Secure all cables (e.g. Ethernet, power cable, GNSS antenna cable)
firmly to the mounting structure to protect them from damage. Do not
leave any surplus cable length to dangle freely. If possible, wind up the
cable as much as possible.

Connecting the measurement antennas

The Outdoor Unit is designed for use with automatic DF antennas from
Narda. For the use of other Narda antennas as well as cables and antennas
from other manufacturers, refer to the operating instructions. The operating
instructions can be found on the USB stick or in the online help of the
Outdoor Unit.
A detailed description of the procedure for exchanging the RF cable on the
automatic DF antenna can be found in the Narda Automatic DF Antenna
Handling and Safety Instructions (3360/98.12).
