About this product

The Outdoor Unit is a real-time analyzer and supports fully automatic direc-
tion finding and TDOA. The device is designed for outdoor use and is
intended to detect, analyze, classify and localize RF signals between 8 kHz
and 8 GHz. In addition, the device solves complex measurement and anal-
ysis tasks quickly and reliably with outstanding RF performance.
The Outdoor Unit offers several Task modes (e.g. (Scan) Spectrum, RT-
Spectrum, Auto DF, RT-Streaming) to support a variety of measurement
applications. This means that your entire measurement process can be
handled by multiple measurement tasks. All measurements in a particular
task are carried out simultaneously. Various visual representations (called
Views) enable you to have your measurements visualized in various ways.
2.1

Variants

Different variants of the Outdoor Unit are available:
• PoE version:
Data communication takes place over a Gigabit Ethernet connection.
Through the PoE connection (PoE++), the device is also supplied with
power.
• Modem R version:
Data communication is handled by a cellular modem integrated inside the
device, which also enables direct and secure VPN connections. For
stand-alone operation, power can be sourced from a photovoltaic module,
for example.
• EMF version:
The device is designed for EMF measurements with SRM antennae and
features two connections for antenna control. Data communication is
handled by a cellular modem integrated inside the device, which also
enables direct and secure VPN connections. A mains adapter provides
the power supply.
The Outdoor Unit can be wall-mounted using the bracket contained in the
basic kit. A bracket for mast or pole mounting can be purchased separately.
