START-UP
During the everyday use (automatic operation) take proper actions for avoiding any damage resulting from the
flooding of rooms in case of any possible failure of the device!
The first step of starting up is the filling of the pump and the suction pipe with water. It can be done after unscrewing the cap
screw found on the top part of the pump, or through a filling tunnel, which should be installed in the delivery pipe following a
shut-off. The filling-up should be done until the air bubbles stop then the filling opening should be closed.
Check the tightness of the system.

Insert the connection plug into the mains socket (See: Safety regulations). When turning on the switch found
•
on the switchbox of the pump, the pump will start and begin to supply water.
• There is a thermal protection relay in the motor of the pump, which will switch off the motor in case of
overheating, but it will switch on again automatically after cooling down. In case of lack of liquid, this relay
cannot hinder the damage of the plastic parts found in the pump.
Only the installed mains isolator switch serves for the switching-on and switching-off of the pump, which

ensures isolation of all the poles simultaneously, and at the time of switching-off the distance between the
contactors of the switch (clearance) is greater than 3 mm. You can apply voltage to the pump by setting the
key button of the switch to position „I". The "operating" condition of the pump is indicated also by the
illumination of the switch.
In case of closed delivery pipe, when the pressure in the tank reaches the switch-off value, the pump will

switch off automatically. In case of water taking, the pressure will decrease in the device, so reaches the
switch-on value and the pump will start and operate until the pressure reaches the switch-off value. The
switch-on and switch-off values can be set on the pressure switch of the device (switch-on: 1.2 - 1.7 bar,
switch-off: 2.5 - 3 bar). Make the setting performed by a technician!
ADJUSTING ACTIONS
Prior to starting up, ascertain of whether the pump rotates easily in the operational direction of rotation. You
can check it by the slot, bore, or overlapping formed in the shaft end of the motor (shaft end formation
depends on the time of manufacture) facing to the ventilator with the help of a screwdriver or possibly another
tool.
ATTENTION! Do not perform rotating of rotor of motor by means of the plastic ventilator since it may break.
It is dangerous to switch on the motor when the ventilator cover is removed, therefore it is FORBIDDEN.
It is not recommended to run the pump without water (dry), because the shaft seal may fail.
INSPECTION
Prior to starting the normal operation of the pump apparatus, check the seals once more carefully. Check the
series fuses of the motor for proper type and value
