Safety instructions

„ The blades are very sharp! When using and cleaning the product, please be very careful not to injure yourself
with the blades. Keep the blade insert inside the container and out of the reach of children.
„
The product is not intended for use by adults or children with limited physical, sensory or intellectual abilities or
little experience with household equipment, unless they are supervised by a competent person who is
responsible for their safety or they receive clear instructions from such a person about how the product is to be
used.
„ Children must not play with the product.
„ When using the pulling mechanism, always hold the lid with pull string (1) tightly in place with one hand. Do
not remove the lid with pull string (1) while the blade insert (2) is still moving.
„ Always place the product on a dry, clean, level and stable surface.
„ Check the product for damage before each use. Do not use a damaged product or damaged accessories.

Before first use

Check the set to ensure that it is complete and no damage has occurred in transit. Details of what is supplied with
the set that you purchased can be found on the packaging or the separate insert sheet.
Remove the packaging material and any stickers attached to the product for protection during transit or for
advertising purposes.
Clean all parts before the first use to remove any production residue (see also "Care and cleaning").

Using

Preparing food

Wash the food and remove stems, cores or pits, and peel if necessary.
Divide larger foods (onions, carrots) into four or into smaller pieces before putting them in the container (7).

Chopping foods

1. Place the container (7) on a stable, dry work surface. Carefully insert the blade insert (2) into the container (7),
in such a way that the six­sided opening is facing upwards and the round opening at the lower end of the blade
insert (2) rests on the pin inside the container (7). Pay attention not to injure yourself on the sharp blades.
2. Put the food you would like to chop inside the container (7).
3. Put the lid with pull string (1) on the container (7), in such a way that the hexagon on the underneath of the lid
with pull string (1) fits into the opening of the blade insert (2).
4. Fix the lid with pull string (1) in place with one hand and pressing the product down on the work surface. With
the other hand, take hold of the handle on the lid with pull string (1) and pull it firmly and quickly away from
the lid (1).
5. Do not let go of the handle abruptly but follow the mechanism with your hand as the string is automatically
retracted.
6. Pull the handle several times until the food has been chopped to the desired size.
7. If the blades of the blade insert (2) jam, remove any pieces of food that have become stuck and divide them
again before putting them back in the container (7).
