Connecting Speakers

1. Remove the pre-cut insulation on one end of the bundled speaker cables.
2. Twist the exposed bare wires to a point for easy insertion.
3. Loosen the binding posts on the speakers and Sound Blaster X7 until the cable hole is
fully visible.
4. Insert the exposed bare wires into cable holes. Ensure that the polarity matches.
Connect the copper wire from the positive (+) speaker terminals to the corresponding
positive (+) terminals on your SB X7. Similarly, connect the other wire to the corresponding
negative (-) terminals.
5. Tighten the binding posts by hand.
Do not overtighten or use a tool to tighten the binding posts.
