Commissioning Wireless M-Bus (OMS)
General
This document refers to the use of the Wireless M-Bus radio system. The Superstatic 749 and Supercal 739 delivered with the Wireless M-Bus option
contains a factory-installed radio module. This radio module comprises a unidirectional radio transmitter which is used to transfer data according to the wM-
Bus (EN 13757) radio communication protocol and in compliance with the OMS (Open Metering System) Release V3.0.1.

tled "Installation guide thermal energy meter Superstatic 749/Supercal 739".
Starting the radio system
The compact Superstatic 749 or Supercal 739 thermal energy meter is always delivered with the Wireless M-Bus radio module de-activated.
As long as the radio module is de-activated, the "wM-Bus radio system" window is present in the main menu loop.

The radio system can be activated through the navigation button in the "wM-Bus radio system" menu of the main loop or via the Prog739-749 software.

Warning:
After activating the radio system, it can no longer be de-activated by means of the navigation button.
The "wM-Bus radio system" menu is deleted from the main loop.
The radio system can only be de-activated with the Prog739-749 software via the optical interface.
When the radio is activated, a further window indicating the type of communication will appear in the "Service" sub-menu:

AES encryption key:
By order, delivery of the Superstatic 749 or Supercal 739 can be specified with the encryption activated or not. An AES encryption key is affixed to the first
page of this document. The encryption key contained in the device cannot be read by the Prog739-749 software. On the other hand, it can be changed
using the Prog739-749 software.
