• Before working on the machine,
remove jewellery and other
metal objects from your hands
and arms.
• All work steps must be
performed only by trained
personnel.
WARNING
Tool and workpiece not aligned
Serious injury or material damage
• Align the upper and lower tools
parallel or at right angles to one
another.
• Align tool and workpiece evenly
to one another.
• Remove any unevenness from
the contact surfaces of the
upper and lower tool.
WARNING
Defective safety system
Death, serious injury or material
damage
• Test safety system before
working on the machine.
• If the safety system is defective,
block the machine immediately
and secure it against use.
ATTENTION
Switch off during operation

reject production.
• Finish pressing-in process
before switching off the
machine.
• Only use the Switch Emergency
Stop in an emergency.
If the ambient temperature is
below 15 °C, the machine must be
switched on to preheat at least 10
minutes before starting work.

4 .1 SWITCH ON THE MACHINE

Precondition:
• The power plug is connected.
• The machine is not blocked due to a malfunc-
tion.
• The switch emergency stop is deactivated.
1. Set Main Switch to ON.
2. Press Switch On.
The lamp behind the Switch On is green.

The machine is ready for operation.
