1 .5 WARNING SIGN ON THE MACHINE

The warning sign is placed on the switch cabinet of
the machine, see Figure 2.

The nameplate is placed on the back of the
machine.

2 Technical Description

2 .1 INTENDED PURPOSE

This machine is a hydraulic insertion machine
for flat workpieces and the related self-clinching
fasteners. Only workpieces and self-clinching
fasteners that do not exceed the maximum press-in
force of the machine may be processed with this
machine, see chapter 2.6.

2 .2 USE LIMITATIONS

In each of the following cases a trouble-free and
safe operation is not ensured:
• The machine is not used according to this
manual.
• The operators are not trained.
• The machine is used for any other than the
intended purpose.

2 .3 OPERATING TYPES

There are two different modes
within each operating type:
• Non-conductive materials
• Conductive materials

2 .3 .1 Operating type setup

This operating type is used only for setting up the
machine. Within this operating type the press-in
force is adjusted.

2 .3 .2 Operating type operation

This operating type is used to press in the
self-clinching fasteners.
