5.2 Other features

Zone follow
Note: Th s feature can be act vated from the remote control only. The remote control
serves as a remote thermostat allow ng for the prec se temperature control at ts

locat on. To act vate the Zone Follow feature, po nt the remote control towards the
un t and press the Zone Follow The remote control w ll send th s s gnal to the a r
cond t oner unt l press the Zone Follow aga n. If the un t does not rece ve the Zone
Follow/Temp Sens ng s gnal dur ng any 7 m nutes nterval, the un t w ll ex t the Zone
Follow/Temp Sens ng mode.

Auto-Restart
If the un t breaks off unexpectedly due to the power cut, t w ll restart w th the prev ous funct on
sett ng automat cally when the power resumes.
A r flow d rect on adjustment
The louver can be adjusted automat cally. Adjust the a r flow d rect on automat cally:
- When the power s on, the louver opens fully.
- Press the SWING button on the panel or remote controller to n t ate the Auto sw ng feature. The
louver w ll! sw ng up and down automat cally.
- Please do not adjust the louver manually.
Wa t 3 m nutes before resum ng operat on
After the un t has stopped, t can not be restarted operat on n the f rst 3 m nutes. Th s s to protect
the un t. Operat on w ll automat cally start after 3 m nutes.
Power management feature (on some models)
When the amb ent temperature s lower than the sett ng temperature for a per od of t me, the un t
w ll be automat cally operate power management feature. The compressor and fan motor stop. When
the amb ent temperature s h gher than the sett ng temperature, the un t w ll be automat cally qu t
the power management feature. The compressor and (or) fan motor run.
