4. Initial use
Remove the computer mouse from its packaging. The 2.4GHz USB receiver is
located in the transport compartment below the mouse. Unplug the receiver
from the mouse.

The device driver is now installed automatically. Manual installation from a driv-
er CD is not additionally required. Now pick up the mouse and open the battery
compartment at the bottom. Then insert a new 1.5V AA battery into the provided
holders. Ensure that the polarity is correct when inserting. A symbol at the bottom
of the compartment shows the correct polarity.
Note on using batteries:
Due to the low battery voltage of only 1.2V, the functioning of the mouse cannot
be guaranteed with all types of batteries. Malfunctions such as jumping of the cur-
sor or shortened battery life are also possible. We recommend using 1.5V alkaline
batteries.
Close the battery compartment and push the slider at the bottom of the mouse to
the "ON" position. The mouse is now ready for use.
5. Functions
Due to its ergonomic shape, the mouse is suitable for right-handed people only.
Using the DPI button on the top, you can choose between different sampling rates.
A maximum DPI of 1600 is available for selection. The mouse also comes with the
quick navigation keys "Next page" and "Previous page" for browsers.
