9.2.2 Mounting with adhesive tape or screws

You can attach the window and door contact and the magnetic
contact to the window/door frame

with the double-sided adhesive tape supplied or

with the countersunk-head screws supplied.
Do not assemble the magnetic contact prior to mounting the
device with screws.
Mounting with adhesive tape
To mount the window and door contact with the adhesive tape,
proceed as follows:

Apply the large double-sided adhesive tape to the back of the
bracket (A) (see Figure 5), and press the device onto the desired
position on the window.

Place the magnet in the back bracket and insert the back into the
housing of the magnetic contact.
When using the spacer (E), you must apply the small
adhesive tape to the back of the spacer (see Figure 5), and
press the spacer onto the desired position on the window.
Then put the magnetic contact on the spacer.

Apply the small double-sided adhesive tape to the back of the
magnetic contact (D) (see Figure 5), and press the magnetic
contact onto the desired position on the window.
