9.1.2 Direct teaching in onto a SilverCrest Smart Home
device (alternative)
You can teach in the SilverCrest Smart Home window and
door contact with magnet (HmIP-SWDM-B2) onto a
SilverCrest Smart Home radiator thermostat (HmIP-eTRV-
B1).
During the teach-in process, keep a minimum distance of 50
cm between the devices.
You can cancel the teach-in process by briefly pressing the
System button (C) again. The device LED (C) will turn red to
confirm this.
To teach in the window and door contact onto another SilverCrest
Smart Home device, you must put both devices into teach-in mode.
Proceed as follows:
Release the electronic unit (B) from the bracket (A) by sliding the
electronic unit upwards and removing it from the front (see Figure
2).
Remove the battery insulation tabs from the battery compartment
(F) of the window and door contact.
Press the System button (C) for at least four seconds to activate
the teach-in mode (see Figure 3). The device LED (C) begins to
flash orange. The teach-in mode is active for three minutes.
