are supervised or have been
instructed in the safe use of
the appliance and are aware
of the resulting dangers. Note
that persons with limitations
may have requirements going
beyond the instructions given
here.

Maintain a safe distance from
animals, and switch off the
appliance if animals come too
close.

Unauthorised modifications or
conversions to the appliance
are forbidden.
■
Use the appliance and exten-
sion lead if they are in perfect
technical condition. Damaged
appliances must not be oper-
ated. Repairs may only be
carried out by our Customer
Service Centre.
■
Do not expose the appliance
to rain or direct water jets.
■
The appliance will not function
if the tapping point is more
than 15 m above the appli-
ance.

3.1 Electrical safety

The pump may not be oper-
ated while people are in the
pool or pond.
■
The mains voltage at your loc-
ation must comply with the in-
formation regarding mains
voltage in the Technical Data.
Do not use any other supply
voltage.
■
The appliance must only be
operated on electrical equip-
ment in accordance with DIN/
VDE 0100, parts 737, 738 and
702. For fuse protection, a cir-
cuit breaker of 10 A and an
earth leakage circuit breaker
with a rated leakage current of
10/30 mA must be installed.
■
Use only 3 x 1.5 mm
sion leads of quality H07RN-F
to DIN 57282/57245 with
splash-proof plug connector.
Cable drums must be com-
pletely unwound.
