1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Dieses Grenzflächenmikrofon ist ein robustes Elektret-Mikrofon mit umschalt-
barer Richtcharakteristik (Niere / Kugel). Das Mikrofon lässt sich besonders gut
als Tischmikrofon einsetzen und eignet sich optimal für Sprachaufnahmen z. B.
bei Konferenzen, Interviews etc.
2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Das Mikrofon entspricht allen relevanten Richtlinien der EU und ist deshalb mit
gekennzeichnet.

Setzen Sie das Mikrofon nur im Innenbereich ein und schützen Sie es vor
Tropf- und Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Ein-
satztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).

Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes, weiches Tuch, auf kei-
nen Fall Wasser oder Chemikalien.

Wird das Mikrofon zweckentfremdet, nicht richtig angeschlossen, falsch
bedient oder nicht fachgerecht re pa riert, kann keine Garantie für das Mikro-
fon und keine Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach- oder Personenschä-
den übernommen werden.
Soll das Mikrofon endgültig aus dem Betrieb genommen werden, über-
geben Sie es zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recyc-
lingbetrieb.
Werfen Sie verbrauchte Batterien nicht in den Hausmüll, sondern geben Sie
sie nur in den Sondermüll (z. B. Sammelbehälter bei Ihrem Elektro -
fachhändler).
3 Inbetriebnahme
1) Den Batteriefachdeckel (1) auf der Unterseite des Mikrofons zur Seite schie-
ben und abnehmen (Abb. 1). Eine 1,5-V-Knopfzelle (LR 44) einsetzen und
das Batteriefach wieder schließen.
Wird das Mikrofon längere Zeit nicht benutzt, sollte die Batterie heraus-
genommen werden, um Schäden durch ein eventuelles Auslaufen der Bat-
terie zu vermeiden.
2) Den 3,5-mm-Klinkenstecker (3) des 4-m-Anschlusskabels mit dem Mikrofon -
eingang eines Verstärkers oder Mischpultes verbinden. Bei einer 6,3-mm-
Klinkenbuchse am Verstärker / Mischpult den Adapter (4) verwenden.
3) Den Schalter (2) auf die gewünschte Richtcharakteristik einstellen:

Please read these operating instructions carefully prior to operating the unit and
keep them for later use.
1 Applications
This boundary microphone is a robust electret microphone with pick-up pattern
to be selected (cardioid / omnidirectional). The microphone is specially suitable
as a desk microphone and is ideal for speech recordings, e. g. in conferences,
interviews, etc.
2 Safety Notes
The microphone corresponds to all relevant directives of the EU and is there-
fore marked with .

The microphone is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it against dripping
water and splash water, high air humidity, and heat (admissible ambient tem-
perature range 0 – 40 °C).

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never use chemicals or water.

No guarantee claims for the microphone or liability for any resulting personal
damage or material damage will be accepted if the microphone is used for
other purposes than originally intended, if it is not correctly connected or
oper ated or not repaired in an expert way.
If the microphone is to be put out of operation definitively, take it to a
local recycling plant for a disposal which is not harmful to the environ-
ment.
Do not throw exhausted batteries into the household rubbish but take them to the
special waste disposal (e. g. collective container at your electrical supply shop).

3 Setting the microphone into Operation
1) Slide open the cover (1) of the battery compartment on the bottom side of the
microphone and remove it (fig. 1). Insert a 1.5 V button cell (LR 44) and close
the battery compartment again.
If the microphone is not used for a longer period, the battery should be
removed to prevent damage to the microphone in case of battery leakage.
2) Connect the 3.5 mm plug (3) of the 4 m connecting cable to the microphone
input of an amplifier or a mixer. In case of a 6.3 mm jack on the amplifier/
mixer, use the adapter (4).
3) Set the switch (2) to the desired pick-up pattern:
Position = omnidirectional (fig. 3)
Position = cardioid (fig. 4)
