Regular checks

- Check all the connector cables and plug-in connectors
for mechanical damage and corrosion .
- Check the earthing resistance of the complete system
in accordance with regional regulations.
- Contamination of the modules
- Condition of the installation system
Earthing continuity may not be interrupted
while routinely checking the installation !

Maintenance

If the module becomes dirty, it can be
cleaned with water and a sponge.
Do not step on the module.
Please note the following instructions regarding laws, regulations and technical rules.
When setting up solar energy installations, the laws and
regulations at local, state, European and international
level that apply to the country in question must be
observed.
Generally acknowledged technical regulations apply;
these are usually in the form of standards, guidelines,
provisions, regulations and technical rules laid down by
local and national bodies, energy supply companies,
trade organisations and technical committees in the
relevant fi elds.
When installing solar units/solar thermal systems,
requirements concerning roofi ng, roof sealing or
cladding of external walls must be taken into account
as specifi ed in the regulations of the German Roofi ng
Association or the appropriate national and international
standards and guidelines. Where installation has been
retrospective, structural integrity, thermal insulation and
ageing behaviour must be tested.

Disposal
Dispose of the packaging in
accordance with the relevant legal
and technical regulations. Observe
the environmental requirements
with regard to recycling, re-use and
disposal of operating materials and
components in accordance with
DIN EN 378.
To meet regulations for the prevention of accidents,
it may be necessary to use safety equipment (straps,
scaffolding, supports, etc.). Such safety equipment is not
supplied and must be ordered separately.
Installation may only be carried out by technically
qualifi ed and authorised personnel with a recognised
qualifi cation (verifi ed by a state or national body) in the
relevant technical area.
